And there was only me. Seemingly I moved on. What was left of my hatred for most things has diminished into a sad remnant of my past life. I am me, and my life is how it is.
What amazes me is how long it took me to realise that I'm the one behind the wheel of my life, not someone else, no matter how real that might seem at some point.

There's a monsoon right outside my window. Heat beats against the raindrops, and where once walked insects now lay pools containing tales of the past. With every drop added to it life reminds me of how fast it goes by, what time remains us as alive.

I havn't traveled much, but I've come a long way. To end one chapter, I'd like to show you a little verse I write for the girl I loved for so long, to illustrate the nature of our relationship:

"To my other half,
For we are two pieces of the same puzzle,
Together lost in the wrong box."
